TTT do it again – three Final Fours in a row

TTT Riga fired from all weapons to deliver the final blow to Liepājas Papīrs on Wednesday, February 28 at Elektrum Olympic Center in Riga.

The Rigans won the first game at Liepāja by 32 points 87:55.

Liepājas Papīrs played the series without its premier point guard Ilze Jākobsone and forward Sabīne Lipe, instead moving in their even younger players like Paula Kļeščova and Inga Manucharyan.

The first half was relatively even (45:35). The guests shot the ball well – Laura Puriņa, Ieva Veinberga and Marina Ivashchanka scored a lot of points.

It was a different story after the break. Liepāja players were tired and slow, while TTT subbed in fresh reserves.

TTT bench outscored their opponents 52-3. Martins Zibarts, Janis Nespors and Alena Eldmane team won the game by 39 points – 92:53.

The final outcome was even more impressive – 179:108.
